Disruptive at our core, BioPak was born from necessity. As a solution to a problem. 

Our founders, Richard Fine and Gary Smith, recognised the alarming stats: Over 91% of plastics produced aren’t recycled. That leaves the vast majority of plastic accumulating in landfill or the natural environment, which eventually winds up in the ocean. 

So with a vision to make a real impact, BioPak began in 2006. A time when ‘sustainability’ was still an out-there and far-flung concept. But what began as a grassroots initiative is now a leader in environmentally sustainable packaging manufacturing.
