Dóldora - meaning 'full to the brim' - is made using Saperavi, an ancient grape hailing from Georgia, with a notoriety for producing punchy reds. Not a drop of that reputation is lost in its journey across the Black Sea to Moldova, where it is transformed into this juicy, ripe wine, bursting with refreshing red fruit.
In these under-represented regions, winemakers benefit from their heritage and tradition, but aren’t bound by the pressures and stigma of the modern wine industry. They can afford to follow their passion, take risks, and, much like our customers, dare to try something different. We love that.
