Pillars - Original Pale

This lager is how our Walthamstow brewery began! The perfect combination of the UK’s two favourite beer styles: Pilsner and IPA. We wanted to brew a craft beer that bridged the gap between pale ales and lagers, taking all the best bits of both. And so, Hop Lager was born!

Tasting notes: A classic made new again. This India Pale Lager has the light body of a lager and the hoppy taste of a pale ale. A refreshing session beer serving zesty citrus notes and a crisp, clean dry-hopped finish.

Beer Facts

• An IPL is a hybrid of an IPA and a lager. It uses an IPA recipe with lager yeast.
• Hop Lager is bursting with Simcoe, which is one of our favourite US West Coast hops from Washington State.
• We use an enzymatic process to make this lager gluten-free.

Food Pairing: Pairs brilliantly with everything from fish and chips to Mexican. It cleanses the palette and is versatile enough to work with any food menu.
